He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gloria Ortiz; 2 daughters, Jacqulene Ortiz and Julie Ortiz; 2 sons, Jaime Ortiz and George Ortiz, all of Fort Pierce; 1 sister, Isabella Ortiz of San Fransisco, CA; 1 brother, Jose Ortiz of Ponce, Puerto Rico; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 8, from 11AM-12:30PM, at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will immediately follow at Riverview Memorial Park, at 1PM.
