Karen June, a loving wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly August 26, 2021, at the young age of 62 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Karen was born on March 16, 1959, the daughter of Mrs. Patricia Starkey and the late George Starkey.
She spent the early years of her childhood in Hammersmith, London before moving to Thetford, Norfolk. In 1993, she left England to move to Fort Pierce, Florida and marry the love of her life, Edward June Jr. She often said, that was the best decision she ever made.
Her and Ed are the proud, successful owners of Ed’s Electric Inc.
Karen was smart, generous, loving (in which she loved with no regrets), the life of the party, and she touched the lives of so many with her friendliness and willingness to help. When anyone spoke to her they would first notice her British accent and then the sparkle in her eyes. Karen’s infectious smile would brighten all our days.
She loved traveling with her family and friends. Cruising was her favorite. For her 60th birthday she took a trip to Hawaii. She loved the islands and couldn’t wait to go back.
Karen was devoted to her family, no one came before them. Her three children – Stacey, Edward, and Kateland meant the world to her, and she loved them more than life itself. She lived for her grandchildren – Alyvia, Nicholas, and Elliana. She referred to them as her best buds and little cherubs. She felt honored to be at the birth of all three of them. She was proud and thankful to hold the greatest titles of being a mother and nana, in which she was the absolute best!
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Ed of Fort Pierce, Florida. Children: Stacey (husband Lino), Edward, and Kateland of Fort Pierce, Florida. Grandchildren: Alyvia, Nicholas, and Elliana of Fort Pierce, Florida. Mother: Patricia Starkey of Thetford, England. Fur baby: Bella. Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and several friends.
