Kathleen C Serino

Kathleen Ann Serino, 83, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away October 7, 2024. 

Kathleen was born May 10, 1941 in Jamaica, Queens, NY to Hollis Gregory Cahill and Helen (Murray) Cahill. Kathleen moved to St. Lucie County coming from Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1975. 

Kathleen was the owner and operator of Act III Salon of Beauty in Fort Pierce for many years prior to retiring. 

She was a member of the Women’s Club at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church and served as the Treasurer from 1994-2006 and then continued on the executive board for the St. Lucie County Humane Society. She had a passion for giving back to her community and helping others. 

She was a loving mother to her son, Kevin (Michelle) Vanover of Port St. Lucie, Fl, daughters, Kerri (Steve) Boyd of Ft. Pierce, FL and Nicole (Anthony) MacKenzie of Coral Springs, FL. Kathleen was blessed with grandchildren, Taylor, Taryn, Gavin, Evan, Christian, Austin, Ava, Cara, Hunter, Audrey, and Addison and 1 great-grandchild, Ozzie. She was predeceased in death by her son Patrick Vanover and parents, Hollis Gregory and Helen Cahill.

Services:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
