Kathleen Shawn Warbington

Kathleen Shawn Warbington died on December 31, 2024 in Vero Beach, FL, at age 73. Born January 12, 1951, in Blytheville, AR.

 Kathleen is survived by her brother, Bert John Warbington and wife, Lynda Warbington, and nieces Ashley and Lyndsey Warbington, of Nashville, TN, and son, Phillip “Jody” Herlein Jr and wife, Nicole Matoushek, of Saint Petersburg, FL. 

A Navy daughter, she was predeceased by her father, Bert Warbington of Hamburg, AR, and mother, Catherine (Musumeci) Warbington of Providence, RI, and ex-husband, Phillip “Jody” Herlein Sr of Cherokee Village, AR, as well as aunts, uncles and many cousins throughout the US. 

Graduating from Arkansas State University as a member of Chi Omega sorority, Kathleen went on to attend Memphis State University for graduate work in psychology. She lived, worked and raised her son in Memphis, Tennessee. Over the course of her life, she worked in a variety of roles including family farm executor, insurance agent and paralegal while residing in Arkansas, Tennessee, New York and Florida.

 A loving sister and mother, Kathleen enjoyed physical fitness, cooking, arts and film and reading and will be remembered for her Italian beauty, intelligence and independent spirit.
