Kathryn Dyke Hicks

Kathryn Dyke Hicks, 91, died January 3, 2007 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mrs. Hicks was born in Ludlow, Kentucky and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1987 coming from Selma, Alabama.Prior to retirement, she worked for the railroad, was the owner/operator of Hicks Business School in Selma, Alabama in the late 50’s and was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church, Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her daughters, Lynda (Mike) Oostdyk of Ft. Pierce, FL and Mary Kay (Joey) Weatherington of Valdosta, GA; brother, Elmer Dyke of Hendersonville, NC; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
