Kathy Blackmon
Kathy Blackmon, 58, died July 22, 2014 in Port St. Lucie, Florida in the comfort of her home.
Mrs. Blackmon was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina and has been a resident of Port St. Lucie, Florida since 1982.
She retired from the State of Florida Department of Revenue. She worked in the banking industry for over 20 years prior. She obtained her pilots license and had a passion to fly. She also drag raced funny cars in her younger years. Her ability to put others before herself is what made her the great southern bell that she was.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Blackmon of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Michael (Amy) Bianco of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, April (Ramiro Barajas) Bianco of Port St. Lucie, FL; step-daughters, Heather McGowan of North Carolina, Wendy Blackmon Parker of Indiantown, FL, Kristy Blackmon of Port St. Lucie, FL and Ashley Blackmon Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL; stepson, Carey Allan Blackmon of Washington; sisters, JoAnn Garner and Cindy Garner both of South Carolina; her first husband, Edwin L. Bianco and 15 grandchildren.
