Kay C. Baker, 79, died March 19, 2013 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Baker was born in Morristown, Tennessee and moved to Port Saint Lucie 15 years ago coming from Easley, South Carolina.
She was a homemaker. Kay volunteered with the Greenville Zoo, the American Red Cross and the Veterans Administration. She also worked as a teacher’s aid in Miami.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, George Baker, of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sons, Gregory Baker, of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Douglas, Charles, and Roger Baker, all of Miami, FL; sisters, Virginia Cooper, of Orange City, FL and Celia Welborn, of Sebring, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Zoo, 150 Cleveland Park Drive, Greenville, SC 29601.
Services: Private services will be held.
