Keith Albert Crandall, 53, died September 11, 2011 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Keith was born in Syracuse, New York and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1975.
He was the chef and owner of Café La Ronde in Ft. Pierce, FL and head chef at Dominick’s Corner Grill. He was a lifelong fisherman, loved reading, music, bowling, telling stories, horse shoes, and campfires. Keith was exceedingly generous, devoted to his family and friends, and a loving father, brother, and grandfather. Keith was also the creator of the locally famous Sweet Potato Soup and his secret recipe has passed with him. Sorry, folks.
Survivors include his sons, K.C. (Alicia) Crandall of Auburn, Al and Michael (Chelsey) Crandall of Gainesville, FL; daughters, Denise (Jeff) Coyle, Diane Killane, and Christine Philblad all of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Catherine Tucholski of Ft. Pierce, FL, Elizabeth (Menzo) Dunham of Williamstown, NY, Carol (William) Lowe of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Deborah Lappier of Vancouver, WA; brother, LeRoy Crandall, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; ex-wife and best friend for 28 years, Shelly Polvere of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren, Rowan and Roselyn Crandall, Nile Coyle, Samantha Killane and Orion Philblad. He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Margaret Crandall.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 9-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home.
