Kenneth Holland, 81, died May 23, 2008 in Fort Pierce, FloridaKenneth was born in Oslo, FL and was raised in Ft Pierce, FL He was a member of Midway Road Church of Christ. He was a veteran of WWII, 82nd Airborne, Para Glider Division, participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He retired as Vice President of Peacock Fruit and Cattle Corp of Ft Pierce. He was a member of the Woodsmen of The World, loved to garden, hunt, fish, and enjoyed summers at his residence in North Carolina for years. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices 1201 SE Indian St Stuart, FL 34997.Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Rick) Minton of Ft Pierce, FL, Dotty (Don) Owens of Roseland, FL, and Patty (Ronnie) Williams of Kenansville, FL; sisters, Inez Rogers of Ft pierce, FL and Jackie Sloan of Jasper, AL; 11 grandchildren including Sandra (Brad) Phares of Okeechobee, FL; 12 great grandchildren including Jacqueline and Jared Phares of Okeechobee, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Holland.Services: A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. The service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home.
