Kenneth Neil "Kenny" Silvers

Kenneth N. “Kenny” Silvers, 49, died December 29, 2007 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.He was born in Dalton, GA and had been a resident of Florida for 41 years, living in Ft. Pierce for 27 years.He was a disabled Army Veteran and member of The Paralyzed Veterans Association. He was of the Baptist faith.He attended Indian River Community College and was proficient in mechanics and computers.Survivors include his parents, Ralph and Rebecca Silvers, of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Darren L. Silvers, of Waleska, GA; sister, Marianna Weldon, of Viera, FL; 3 nephews, 1 niece, 3 great-nephews and friend and caregiver James Howe. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents J. Walter Jackson, Sr. and Sybil D. Jackson and paternal grandparents Ed and Gladys C. Silvers all of Dalton, GA.He will be forever loved and missed.Services: A visitation will be from 11:00-12:00 PM, January 2, 2007 at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel followed by a service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel in Fort Pierce with Pastor Don Hinkle officiating. A private burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce.
