Kenneth “Bear” Sheats, Sr.

July 3, 1953 – March 25, 2023

Kenneth “Bear” Sheats Sr, 69, died March 25, 2023, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Sheats was born in Craven County, North Carolina on MCAS Cherry Point. He lived majority of his life in Fort Pierce, FL.

Bear worked in the drywall industry and was one of the best. He also had a love for Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was a thoughtful husband, loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, cousin, and uncle. His love for Harley Davidson went past just riding motorcycles, as he also loved collecting t-shirts and other collectables from around the world.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Betty Sheats; daughter, Barbara Milam of Ocala, FL; Sons, Kenneth Sheats Jr. of Port Richey, FL and Bruce Allen Cook of Port Saint Lucie, FL; sisters, Clarice Simmons, Madeline McCammon, Dawn Garland, and Laurie Rabah; brothers, Richard, Daniel, and William Sheats; grandchildren, Destiny McClure, Grayson Miller, Alexis Mellor, Nevaeh Sheats, Sydney Sheats, and Talon Sheats; great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Miller, Briella Pampano, Leilani Spahr, Presley Mellor, and Maeven McClure; also many loving cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Judith Sheats; parents, Richard and Fanny Sheats, and many brothers and sisters. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
