KENNETH U. PRICEKenneth U. Price, 98, died September 12th in Fort Pierce, Florida.He was born in Goshen, New York, and has been a resident of Fort Pierce since 2001, coming from Middletown, NY.He was a Corrections Counselor for the State of New York and was the last member of the Goshen Colored Giants, served in the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Warwick American Legion.Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Florence Price of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Lillian Yohe of Hyde Park, NY, Sheena Pollidore of Middletown, NY, Artie Johnson of Fort Pierce, FL and Queen Byers Schwartz of Poughkeepsie, NY; sons, Johnnie Smoot, Jr., of Salinas, CA, Michael Smoot of Poughkeepsie, NY, Theodore Smoot of Middletown, NY and Paul Smoot of Monroe, NY; 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
