Keri Lynn Sapanara

Keri Lynn Sapanara, age 34, passed away on November 3, 2016.

She was born in Easton, Pennsylvania on February 6, 1982. She moved to Port Saint Lucie, coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She is survived by her three children, Alesio Leiti, Josephine Leiti and Angelina Leiti of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and the father of her children, Jason Leiti also of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; her parents, Michael and Donna Sapanara of Reedville, Virginia; sister Kristi (Jonathan) Gano of Reedville, Virginia; brother, Kenneth Sapanara of Fort Pierce, Florida; maternal grandfather, Edward Chilton, of New Brunswick, New Jersey; paternal grandparents Alesio and Josephine Sapanara of Manchester, New Jersey; nieces Sophia Sapanara and Mia Gano of Reedville, Virginia; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Keri is also survived by close friends Nancy Lenert, Jessica Camponi, and the Kane family. Keri was preceded in death by her grandmother Barbara Chilton.

Keri graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 2002. She received her Associates degree in Arts, cum laude, in 2014, and was working towards her degree in accounting at Indian River State College. Keri’s greatest joy was her beloved children. Her most special times were spent at the beach watching them swim and play in the sea.

Keri’s free-spirited nature captured the hearts of her family and friends from the day she came into this world. She will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been established for Keri’s children. Donations can be made to the “Keri L. Sapanara Memorial Fund” at any Wells Fargo branch.

A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at Indian River Presbyterian Church, 2499 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL, 34982. An online guest book may be signed at www.haisleyfuneralhome.com .
