Kum Sul Yun, 59, died September 18, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Yun was born in Chun-Nam, South Korea and moved to St. Lucie County in 1976.
He was the owner/operator of Yun’s Produce Market for 31 years and was involved with the Fort Pierce Downtown Farmers Market for 13 years and the Stuart Green Market. He was also co-owner of Seoul Garden Korean Restaurant in Ft. Pierce. He was a charter member of the Korean Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Song Yun of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, Yoon-jae David Yun of Port St. Lucie, FL and Alex Yun of Georgia; daughters, Chi Yun Medlin of Port St. Lucie, FL, Debbie Yun of Ft. Pierce, FL and Brenda Yun VanVliet of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Kum Yul Yun of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Sam Ye Yang of Port St. Lucie, FL, Connie Smith of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jung Sook Cha of South Korea and Soon Ye Pak of South Korea; and 7 grandchildren.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Ft. Pierce Korean Baptist Church, 1201 Kaufman Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
