Laura Steelman, 98, died September 16, 2019 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Steelman was born in Camden, New Jersey and moved to Fort Pierce in 1977 coming from Lindenwold, New Jersey.
Laura loved to crochet, do crypto grams, and play bingo and Pokeno at Tall Pines. She was also the queen at Wheel of Fortune.
Survivors include her son, Herbert E. (Peggy) Steelman of Barefoot Bay, FL; daughters, Judie (Joe) Kisler of Fort Pierce, FL and Lynda (Don) Cole of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Debbie (Jeff) O’Neill of Baileyville, ME, Jill (Jim) Provencher of Meddybemps, ME, Daniel Seger of Port St. Lucie, FL, Amy (Adam) Thofner of Fort Pierce, FL, Joseph M. (Jody) Kisler of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kristina (Patrick) Davis of Pinehill, NJ, and Michael Steelman of Barrington, NJ; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herbert G. Steelman.
Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
