Lawrence "Larry" Miller

Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Miller, 75, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away November 17, 2022.

Larry was born February 18, 1947 in Cross Lanes, WV to George and Ruth Miller. He graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1965 and married his high school sweetheart, Kathy in 1967.

Larry was a well-respected deputy sheriff in St. Lucie and Okeechobee counties for more than 10 years. When Larry was not at work, he was hunting, fishing, or enjoying time outdoors at the family home in Georgia. Larry was known among family and friends for his mechanical skills; “he was one heck of a mechanic,” he loved working on cars, trucks, and anything he found in his barn.

Larry was a loving husband, brother, father, and a beloved grandfather. He will forever be remembered for his skill at loving his grandchildren.

Survivors include beloved wife, Kathy Albritton Miller, children, Lawrence (wife Tish) Miller of Sebastian, FL, Wade (wife, Christy) Tindall, Will (wife, Cali) Tindall, Nicole (husband, Jake) Velardo all of Fort Pierce, FL; nine grandchildren, Breanna, Lawrence Jr, Kylee, Lilyan, Wade, Luther, Mirella, Libbey, Abigail, and 1 great-grandchild, Rylan; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents George Eugene and Ruth Martin Miller; brother, George Miller and his beloved grandparents, the Martins.

A gathering will be held November 22, 2022 from 2PM to 3PM at the Haisley Funeral Home chapel 3015 Okeechobee Rd Fort Pierce, FL with a graveside service to begin at 3:30PM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception at the Haisley Reception Center following the graveside service.
