Lawrence Stacy

Lawrence Stacy, age 85, died on September 22, 2007 in Vero Beach, FL. He was born in McVeigh, KY and moved to this area in 1982, coming from Bellville, MI.He was employed by General Motors for 32 years, as an automotive inspector. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church where he served as Head Usher for 20 years.He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Beatrice Stacy of Vero Beach; daughter, Sharon (Don) Campbell of Fenton, MI; brother, Albert (Libby) Stacy of Ann Arbor, MI; sister, Josephine May of Corbin, KY; several nieces and nephews, and many brothers and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his sons; Danny Ray and Gregory Lawrence Stacy, and brothers; Elbert Frank and Troy Stacy, and a sister; Ethel Grace McCoy.Memorial Contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 4401 South 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 or to Vero Beach Hospice, 1111 36th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.Services: Friends may call on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, from 4:30 – 6:30 PM. Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6:30, with Pastor Carl M. Sebris officiating.
