It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lee Fox Templeton of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Lee is survived by her loving son Steve McDonough of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; stepsons, Donald Keith & Michael Templeton; stepdaughter, Lorianne Templeton Saunders; grandchildren, Kaitlynn Judkins of Newport News, VA, Heath Saunders of Williamsburg, VA and Eric Fox of Portsmouth, VA. She will also be greatly missed by her beloved dog, Sasha. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard L. Templeton, Sr. and her cherished son, Edward McDonough and her stepson, Richard Templeton, Jr. Le was the daughter of the late Alfred and Cleora Harth.
Lee was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Chesapeake, Virginia where she raised her two young sons. She became a second mother to many of her son’s friends as they grew up; always having a welcoming ear, someone to talk with, and get advice from. She was very active in the community, and it was said of her, that she “never met a stranger”. For the last almost 40 years, Lee and her beloved husband, Richard, enjoyed the warmth of the sun and each other in Florida. She also loved visiting her many nephews, nieces and their families who live in the Chicago Area.
