Leland Curry, 79, died July 31, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Curry was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Prior to retirement, he worked in the trucking industry. He was a member of the Wellborn Baptist Church, Wellborn, Florida. He operated a fruit stand in Ft. Pierce, was a pilot, commercial fisherman and owner of a car dealership and orange grove.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy Curry of Ft. Pierce, FL; children, William Curry of Ft. Pierce, Irene Swasey of New Hampshire, Charles Curry of Montana, Marilyn Mercer Live Oak and Diane Cox of Georgia; brother, Tom (Donna) Curry of Ft. Pierce, FL; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
