Lennart “Lenny” Eric Schelin, Jr., 33, died July 28, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Schelin was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
Lenny graduated from Lincoln Park Academy in 2003, was a Firefighter Explorer for St. Lucie County Fire Department for 4 years and went through EMT/Fire School. He was also a licensed U.S.C.G. Captain and was the First Mate on the Lo Que sea sport fishing boat. He loved hunting and being in the outdoors. He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone; he truly had the gift of gab. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that no one will ever forget and a true adventurous spirit. His friends were very important to him and was respected by so many and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Debbie (Bryce Greenfield) Johnston of Jensen Beach, FL; father, Lenny (Tobi) Schelin of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Ryan (Tiffany) Schelin of Port St. Lucie, FL; niece, Serenity; uncles, Ernie Schelin of Fort Pierce, FL and David Huggins of Jupiter, FL and aunts, Gail Sheets of Fort Pierce, FL and Debby Compton of San Antonio, TX.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Indian River Presbyterian Church, Fort Pierce from 4:00-5:30 PM with a service to follow at 5:30 PM.
