Leoawon Isaacs “Miss Violet”, 99, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Leoawon was born January 17, 1920 in Guyana and moved to Port St. Lucie.
Ms. Isaacs was lovingly known as “Miss Violet” and was a faithful woman who overcame her tough upbringing. She was always there for her family, friends and church family in their times of need and would counsel and pray for them. In her later years, she was there for her daughter, granddaughter, nieces and nephews. Leoawon was a strong woman of God and Father has taken her home in peace.
Survivors include; daughter, Patricia Isaacs of Port St. Lucie, FL; granddaughter, Krystal Isaacs of Port St. Lucie, FL; nieces, Annette Alleyne and Yvonne McDonald; nephews, Desmond Daly and George Daly along with several loving cousins, great nieces, nephews, great great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her brother; Walter Daly, nieces, Norma Holmes and Marva Daly, nephew, Lloyd Daly and great-nephew, Lyndon Homes.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Tribute Center. A visitation will also be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Nativity Episcopal Church “7th Day Adventist.” Burial to follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
