Leon M. Lewis, 75, died October 25, 2020 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Lewis was born in Vero Beach, Florida and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Leon graduated from Dan McCarty High School in 1964 and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army from 1964-1968. He then went on to Liberty Bible College and graduated in 1981.
He was a plumber and had worked at Millers Plumbing and Indian River State College. He was also the pastor/founder of the Ford Ministries and did jail ministry. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, gardening and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Lewis of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Wendy Papsidero of Fort Pierce, FL and Heather Metz of Watertown, NY; son, Jeremy Lewis of Okeechobee, FL; sister, Ila Karc of Vero Beach, FL; brothers, George Lewis, Elijay Lewis of Georgia, and Larry Lewis of Fort Pierce, FL; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ila and Otis Lewis, daughter, Kristi Lee Lewis, sister, Avalon Booth and brother, Ken Lewis.
