Leonard L. “Lee” Carter, 66, died March 4, 2020 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Carter was born in Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Fort Pierce 30 years ago.
Lee was an electrician for most of his life. He retired from East Coast Lumber in Fort Pierce and loved all his work family. He loved cars; hot rods and classic cars were his favorites. He loved watching Motor Trend channel or cooking shows on TV. He also loved animals and often had birds and squirrels eat from his hand on his own back porch. More than anything, he loved talking to and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his son, Rob (Emilie) Carter of Lexington, KY; brother, Mike Carter of Kings Mountain, KY; sister, Sonya (Jeff) McClanahan of Nicholasville, KY; mother, Geneva Carter of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Jordan (Brandon Hardy) and Savannah Carter; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melanie, daughter, Christy, father, Thomas and sister, Jana.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 1-2 PM with a service at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
