Leonard Garland Blair

Leonard Garland Blair, 81, died June 23, 2007, in Stuart, Florida.Mr. Blair was born in Taylor County, Georgia, and has been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1969, after completing a military career.He was a veteran of WWII, Korea, Vietnam and retired after 21 years service in the US Air Force. He retired from the Fort Pierce Police Department after 15 years and was a member and deacon at Sunrise Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Ruby M. Blair of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Ronald E. Blair of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughters, Joyce Ann Smith of Centralia, MO and Kathy Puckett of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Felix Blair and Clarence Blair.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, 1201 S. E. Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
