Leslie Barraclough, 92, of Port St. Lucie, FL died on July 11, 2014 at Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce after suffering his second stroke and complications from a fall two weeks previously. He will be dearly missed.
Les is survived by his son Howard (wife Angela), son Brett (wife Donna), daughter Bea (husband Darren), 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was pre-deceased by his first wife Helen and second wife Beverly.
Born in England, Les immigrated with his first wife to the USA in 1969, and lived in Pennsylvania and Utah before moving to the Treasure Coast as a widower in 1990. Always a very fit and vital man, Les served in the Royal Air Force during WW2 and for some time afterwards, and in addition to a stellar career as a Mechanical Engineer he also served the Crown in Military Intelligence for most of his life.
