Leslie Allan "Al" Griffith

Leslie Allan “Al” Griffith, 90, died February 5, 2019 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Griffith was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Fort Pierce in 1976 coming from Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

He was a golf pro at Indian Hills in Fort Pierce, golf coach at Fort Pierce Central for many years, and volunteered for the Special Olympics golf tournaments. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, Chicago sports teams, T.V., and movie westerns.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffrey (Renee) Griffith of Bolivar, MO and Gary (Christine) Griffith of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Leslie (Steven) Spratt of Homewood, IL; brother-in-law, Richard Haegele of Fort Pierce, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirlee.

Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 3-7 PM with military honors at 5:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
