Leslie Robert Staunton, 58, died on February 2, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Les was born in 1955 in Oxford, England. In 1990, he moved to Michigan with his family.
After remarrying in 2000, he moved to Florida in 2005.
He was a draughtsman who worked his way up to management and was employed by Ford and Chrysler in years past. He was an avid fisherman and especially enjoyed fishing off of the jetty in Fort Pierce. Crabbing and making crab cakes was another passion of his.
Les loved, and was loved by, many family members and friends. He had a great outlook, told animated stories and jokes and was the "life of the party."
In lieu of flowers and given his love of fishing and the water, please send donations to the Florida Oceanographic Society at
