Lewis Dale Beckwith, Jr.

Lewis “Blue Lew” Beckwith, Jr., died February 14, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Beckwith was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1994.

Before retirement, he was a tool and die machinist. He was a blues song writer and guitarist best known for his song “Mississippi Bound”.

Survivors include his sister, Sandra Randhan of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Sharine Apuke of Illinois; 3 grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews.
