Lew Wilson, 86, passed away on November 13, 2006 at Lawnwood Regional Medical, surrounded by his family.Lew was born in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1920. After a few years in Florida, his family settled in Michigan. Once he finished high school, Lew enlisted in the Army and served overseas for 3 years as a technical Sergeant in the Pacific during WWII.Back in Michigan after the War, he married his sweetheart, Dorothy Giddy. They had one daughter, Louise. Over the years the family lived in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio before moving back to Michigan.In 2003, Lew and Dorothy made Fort Pierce their permanent home.Lew is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy, his daughter, Louise and her husband, Jay Noyes both of Ketchum, Idaho, and many special nieces and nephews.
