Linda Kay Young

Linda Kay Young, 59, passed away on March 17, 2008 in Vero Beach, Florida.Linda was born on November 4, 1948 in Danville, Illinois. She graduated from Danville High School in 1966 and married David Seilhymer in 1967. They had three sons, Scott, Richard, and Ronnie. She was employed for many years at Colonial Engineering, later at Flowers Bakery Breadstore and most recently at QVC.Linda enjoyed walking on the beach and Elvis memorabilia. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, beloved daughter and sister.Linda was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Lelia Riley in 2000, her father, Herman Young in 2007, and her son, Ronnie on March 9th. She leaves behind her sons, Scott Seilhymer of Georgetown, IL and Richard Seilhymer of Ft. Pierce, FL; mother, Lorraine Young of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Herman E. (Gene) Young of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Debra Sue Burke of Ft. Pierce, FL; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and one more due soon. She also leaves behind several dear friends, Marlene, Dorothy, and Ethel.Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of Indian River County, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
