Linda L. Santiago, 69, of Stuart, Florida passed away on September 11, 2021.
Linda was born and raised in Sea Cliff, New York. She graduated from North Shore High School in Glen Head, NY.
Linda loved every member of her family more than anything that life had to offer; her love lit up the room when she was surrounded by her loved ones. Linda’s love for all the children in her family was beyond measure, there was nothing she would not do to produce a smile, a giggle, or a memory. She would not hesitate to run, play, skip, or jump with the children. Linda was the kindest, most generous, and most thoughtful woman; everyone she loved were touched by her attributes. She never forgot a birthday, a holiday, a special occasion with a card or a package in the mail.
Christmas was her favorite holiday. She would decorate every inch of her home for weeks and keep her decorations up until well into the new year. Traditionally she would bake Christmas cookies every year, and it brought her great joy to bake them with her family. Everyone looked forward to those cookies. She loved gifting others with her cookies; her family and friends, her neighbors, co-workers, even the mailman received a tin of her delicious cookies.
Linda loved the beach; all beaches. Beach life was her passion, it brought her immeasurable peace when her feet were in the sand. Any day she could escape to the beach was a great day, and a day at the beach with her family was perfection. Linda loved puzzles of all kinds. She never met a puzzle that she could not figure out or complete. Flowers, especially lilacs, brought her great joy.
Linda was our special flower whose sweet, loving fragrance will live with us forever.
