Lloyd Alan Adler

Lloyd Alan Adler, 68, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on October 18, 2024.

Lloyd was born in Brooklyn Women's Jewish Hospital on May 23, 1956, to the late Judah Issadore & Roslyn Bernice (Hodes) Adler.

After high school, Lloyd spent some time at college with his beloved Diane. He was the proud owner of Cup & Saucer Village where he sold fine china, giftware, and dinnerware.

As Lloyd grew older, his faith became very important to him. He was a member of Christ Fellowship in Port St. Lucie, FL. He was also very proud of the 33 years that he had in recovery. 

Lloyd loved going out to eat and finding the best deals at all grocery stores. He enjoyed spending time on the water - fishing, on the greens- golfing. But his favorite way of spending time was teaching and loving his grandkids and children. He also loved to help people, no matter who or what the situation was, from South Africa to Florida to New York to California and beyond.

Lloyd loved worship music, including titles such as “Oceans,” and “Surrounded” as well as the Book of Matthew in the Bible.

Lloyd will be forever missed by his wife, Diane Adler of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter Gayle Scalisi (Adler) and husband John Scalisi of Bellmore, NY, daughter, Janine Adler and husband, Anthony Fernald of Port St. Lucie, FL, and daughter, Aimee Adler Cooke and husband, Joseph Cooke of Arlington, VA. He will live on in the hearts of his grandchildren, Anthony (AJ), Christian, & Richard Fernald, all of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joseph Cooke III of Arlington, VA, Sierra Winkler and Rae Ann Siwick both of Bellmore, NY. He will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren, Brayden Winkler of Bellmore, NY and Andie Siwik West of Islip, NY. He is also survived by siblings, Howard Adler and Michelle McKenna both of Delray Beach, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 from 2PM to 5PM with a Memorial Service to start at 3PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
