Lloyd C. "Capt." Winstead, Jr.

“Capt.” Lloyd C. Winstead, Jr., 90, died August 22, 2006 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Winstead was born in Avalon, Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1976 coming from Key Largo, Florida.
He was a full time commercial fisherman and a member of Riverview Baptist Church, Ft. Pierce.
He was a loving father & grandfather and will be greatly missed.Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Lloyd & Deborah Winstead, III of Ft. Pierce, FL; son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Ann Winstead of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter & son-in-law, Darlene & Wiltz “Dooley” Luke of Houma, LA; son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Debra Winstead of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Etheridge Winstead of Heathsville, VA; sister, Cecilia Blackwell of Reedville, VA; grandchildren, Brittany Brinker, Jennifer Sanford, James Winstead, Brandon Luke, Brian Luke, Blake Luke, Lance Winstead and Lacey Winstead; great-grandchildren, KayLee and Paul Brinker, III, Jordan, Michael and Cheryl Sanford, Brenden Luke and his beloved dog, Princess. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy and his great-grandson, Chandler Luke.
