Lloyd Taylor, 101, died October 2, 2010 in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Mr. Taylor was born in Cairo, Georgia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1923 from Houston, Florida and recently moved to Longwood, Florida.
He was a home builder/general contractor and owned and operated Lloyd Taylor Realty. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII, a member of First United Methodist Church, Ft. Pierce and later converted to Catholicism becoming a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Altamonte Springs, FL.
Survivors include his son, David L. Taylor and daughter-in-law Debbie Taylor of Longwood, FL; 2 grandchildren, John C. Taylor and wife, Lauren of Clearwater, FL and James J. Taylor of Odenton, MD; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dr. Clotilde F. Taylor, brothers and sister: Fred Lawson Taylor, William Lindsey (Doc) Taylor, James William Taylor, Ruth T. Boone and Forcie Carl Taylor.

Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
