Lois Jean Bottorff

January 3, 1930 — March 10, 2013

Lois Jean Bottorff passed peacefully on March 10, 2013 at the ripe young age of 83. She made many friends along her journey and enjoyed lots of chocolate until the end. At her time of passing she was surrounded by her family and covered over with many prayers from devoted loved ones.

Jean was best known for the 30 + years she spent managing the local mom and pop store called AJ&SON Supply in Bassinger, Fl. People from all walks of life would stop in to buy a soda pop and chat a bit before continuing on their journey.

Her Christian faith in her Lord was strong to the end. Her words remain with us "it is what is" leave matters in the Lord's hands, follow His instructions, and everything will work itself out in the end. She attended Bassinger Community Church with Pastor Mike Peppers.

She was preceded in death by her late husband of 43 years of marriage, Eugene Allen Bottorff. Her siblings Pauline, Geraldine, Christine and 3 grandbabies, Delaney, Liam, and Nicole.
Celebrating her life are her children: Danny, Raymond, Faye, Allen, & Jean Ann; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and siblings Connie & Terry.

A special thanks to the Cornerstone Silver Team and Staff at Savannah Court for all their loving hours of service. As she told you many times "Thank-You and God Bless You"
Mom you will be missed by all, but we know you are happy, well and enjoying lots of chocolate.

A graveside service will be held in honor of her life at Bassinger Cemetery Wednesday March 13 @1pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to her favorite charities DC Ranch in Bassinger, Fl or Sisters in Christ Mentoring Ministry, Lakeland, FL 863-412-6597.
