Lois Bryant Smith, 89, passed away April 6, 2021 in Fort Pierce, FL.

Lois was born in Oconee County, SC to Johnnie Bryant and Jeannie Vaughn Bryant. She relocated to Fort Pierce, FL in 1977 coming from New Mexico.

She was a member of Palm Vista Church of God and was president of the Ladies Ministry for over 25 years. She was also very active in the Keenagers at church. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, sewing, quilting, reading, and writing letters. She loved to cook and entertain her family and friends and was a true Southern Bell from head to toe. Most importantly, her family and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Lois was very giving and always had something cooking on the stove; everyone was welcome into her home.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Woodrow W. Smith of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Eugene G. (Grace) Mize of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Frances D. (David) Ramsey of Cleveland, TN, Sherry T. McCorkle of Fort Pierce, FL and April (Al) Herring of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Beulah, Mildred, Inez, and Bertha; grandchildren, Teresa Ramsey Henderson, Whitney (Noah) McCorkle Connell, JR (Kendra) McCorkle and Bryant Herring; great-grandchildren, Emily, Kendra Kate, Jackson, Larkin and James.
Lois was loved by anyone that was lucky enough to know her and will be sorely missed by all.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Palm Vista Church of God, 700 S. 33rd Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. A burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
