Lola Brower Patterson, 90, of River Park, Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away June 23, 2018 at Treasure Coast Hospice after a brief illness. Mrs. Patterson, the daughter of Ernst and Dona Brower, was born in Jasper, Michigan.
Mrs. Patterson and her family were one of the first residents of River Park, moving here from West Palm Beach in 1959.
Her love for children led her to become a teacher for the Head Start Program in Fort Pierce; moving into the position as the Director of Head Start.
She then began a career as a travel consultant and worked many years for American Travel and World Travel in Fort Pierce and as Co-Owner/Manager of Rivergate Travel in Port Saint Lucie.
Survivors include her children, Ralph “Pat” (Anne) Patterson, of DeLand, FL, Michael (Gerry) Patterson of Fort Pierce, FL and North Carolina, Philip Patterson of Texas, Leslie (Gene) Duncan of Vero Beach, FL, Michele Price (William Schmidt) of Cheboygan, MI, and Paula (Mike) Ingersoll of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Perry Brower of Adrian, MI; sister, Jowain Braddock of Fort Pierce, FL. She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
