Lolita Conde Arriola, 76, reunited with her late husband on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2017, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Arriola was born in Mati, Davao, Philippines, on January 23, 1941, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1976, coming from Staten Island, New York.
Mrs. Arriola was the managing partner of her husband’s OB/GYN practice since her arrival in Fort Pierce through 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brokenshire Medical School in Davao City, Davao, Philippines, and continued her nursing career in Newark City Hospital, Newark, New Jersey; St. Vincent’s Hospital, Staten Island, New York; and Staten Island Hospital, Staten Island, New York. She left nursing to pursue medical practice management in 1976, where in Fort Pierce the husband/wife team of Dr. and Mrs. Arriola raised a family and built a successful OB/GYN practice. In retirement, she continued her love for cooking, gardening, pets, and family while being primary caregiver to her husband. She also became a skilled country line dancing teacher, teaching classes for over 20 years.
Survivors include her sons, Alvin Arriola of Fort Pierce and Carl C. Arriola of Orlando, FL; daughter, Cindy C. Arriola of Tampa, FL; and three grandchildren, Alexandra, Dominic, and Miranda Arriola. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eulalio and Isabel Conde, and husband of 46 years, Florentino N. Arriola, Jr., MD, FACOG.
