Lorraine Mae Adkins

Lorraine Mae Adkins, 88, passed away July 10, 2016 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.

Mrs. Adkins moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1964 coming from Gallipolis, Ohio.

Lorraine was the bookkeeper for Dr. Watkins until he retired, then Dr. David Fromang until her retirement. An Emeritus member of the Pilot Club of St. Lucie County holding the offices of secretary, treasurer and various committee chairs.

Lorraine was a long-time resident of St. Lucie Village, FL, was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, the Antique Club of Vero Beach, the Thursday Luncheon Club and Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, crafts and taking trips with friends as far away as Alaska, Connecticut and Canada.

Survivors include her sons, Darrell Adkins, Danny Adkins and Steve Adkins; daughter, Deborah Brunen; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adkins is predeceased by her husband, Bob A. Adkins, son, Donald Adkins, and brothers, Harold Mathe, Clarence Mathe and Robert Mathe .

Visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 11AM to 12PM with a service starting at 12PM. A reception will follow at the Haisley Reception Center. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
