Lorraine Elizabeth Hacker Branscomb Thompson, age 67, passed away on September 25th 2016 in Fort Pierce, FL. She was born in New York where she later moved to New Jersey, and then becoming a resident of Saint Lucie County for more than 50 years.
Lorraine was a very caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Lorraine loved bowling, painting, being a rancher’s wife, and exploring new things. She loved frogs and turtles. Family was the most important thing to her, but if you went to a party where she was you knew she was there because she was the life of the party, always having her huge glasses with her maracas and her tambourines out and making everyone get up and dance. She never let anyone sit around quiet. And you always left with a smile!
Survivors include her husband, Ernie Thompson; daughter, Stacy Branscomb; son, Robert Branscomb III; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Branscomb, Jr., brother, Martin Hacker, Jr., father, Martin Hacker, Sr., mother, Mary Hacker, and niece, Tammy Adkins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
