Louis Byard Riggs

Louis Byard Riggs, 89, died October 28, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Riggs was born in Buckhannon, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1950 coming from West Virginia.He was a heavy equipment operator and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved to garden and read.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Maribelle Riggs of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Vonda Riggs of Ft. Pierce, FL and Elizabeth Spinner of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Dale Ratcliff of Thatcher, AZ and Tyde Aylestock of Clarksburg, West Virginia; grandson, David Martin of Ft. Pierce, FL.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
