Louis "Lou" Capezza

Lou Capezza, 68, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Port St. Lucie, Florida
Mr. Capezza was born in Bronx, New York and resided in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
He moved from NY City to Fort Pierce in 1968 to play basketball for Indian River Junior College. It was there that he met his wife of 48 years, Cathy (Chambley) Capezza. They settled in Fort Pierce to raise their 3 children. He retired from the St. Lucie County School Board. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and also enjoyed playing poker and playing/watching/coaching basketball.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Capezza of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, April (Todd) Roop of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Louis (Jennie) Capezza of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Keely (Clarence) Adkison of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Thomas, Taylor, Tatum, Kate, Abbey, Luke, Morgan, Logan and Kendyl and brother, Al Capezza of Fort Pierce, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother & father, Alfonzo & Elizabeth Capezza and brother, Donnie Capezza.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 5-8 PM with a Wake Service at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2:00 PM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce.
