Mr. Garcelon was born in Lewiston, Maine and moved to Stuart in 1972 from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
He graduated from Bowdoin College, member of the Elks Lodge in Stuart, Florida, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was the owner/operator of Mainstay Marina in Boothbay Harbor Maine and also the owner of Charter Boat Lassie.
Survivors include his daughter, Jill Cummings of Stuart, FL; son, Peter Garcelon of Missouri; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
