Louise A. Brannan, also known as Weezy and LB, passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 72 in Port St Lucie, Florida. Born on October 23, 1950, in Springfield, Pennsylvania, Louise was a kind and caring individual who always put others before herself. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being a nana to her grandchildren.
Louise is survived by her son, Charles Brewster (Susan) and child Bree of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; her daughter, Amanda Brannan (Jacob) along with thier children Amelia, Kaiden, and William of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son, Joseph Brannan (Amber) of St Clair, Pennsylvania, along with their children, Mckenzie, McKaylan, Joseph Jr, and Charlie Rae; her brother, John "Jack" Brannan of St Clair, Pennsylvania; her sister, Joanne Zizza (Steven) of Wildwood, New Jersey; and her daughter, Georgann Brewster along with her children Collin and Nicholas of Pennsylvania.
Louise was preceded in death by her beloved father, John P. Brannan, her grandmother, Catherine Brannan, and her beloved nana, Anna Sherman.
Louise dedicated 30 years of her life to the Philadelphia Police Department, where she served with distinction. She was a committed and dedicated officer who made a significant impact on her community.
In her free time, Louise loved spending time with her pets and enjoying nature. She had a special fondness for her outside pets, squirrels, and birds.
Louise "Weezy - LB" Brannan will forever be remembered for her show-stopping selflessness, her love for family, and her ability to navigate life's dance floor with graceful charm. Her spirited legacy will continue to sway in our hearts. Keep rocking, Weezy—your performance will be sorely missed. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.

A memorial service will be held at Haisley Funeral Home, located at 3015 Okeechobee Rd, Fort Pierce, FL 34947, on July 30, 2023 at 12 PM. Additionally, a burial and graveside service will take place on August 17th at 11 am at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, located at 1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Florida Lion Eye Bank or the Human Society in Louise's memory.
