Louise Brinkley fell asleep into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Ms. Brinkley, 91, born November 8, 1928, was raised in Morganton, NC, before residing in FT. Pierce, FL in 2014.
Ms. Brinkley, a loving mother, daughter and sister, is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Burton, of Ft. Pierce, FL and Carol Cummings, son-in-law John and grandson John Jr. of Burbank, CA great-grandson Spencer Moss of Greensboro, NC brother David Mills and sister Oris Page who remain in Morganton, North Carolina. Her sisters, Jessie Green, Corrie Holiday, Vernie Keller, Sara Fletcher, and granddaughter Amanda Spencer preceded her in death.
Louise attended North Carolina School for the Deaf, worked in furniture manufacturing most of her years before retiring, continuing her active participation with her, family, church and social groups.
A Celebration of Life and memorial will be scheduled at a later date in North Carolina.
