Lucy Alvarez, 89, died November 7, 2009 in Ft Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Alvarez was born in Puerto Rico and move to Ft Pierce 40 years ago coming from New Jersey.
She was a Homemaker, a member of the ladies Auxiliary Post 40, loved the ocean and collecting shells, and enjoyed walking and cooking.
Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Bart Alvarez of Ft Pierce, FL; son Bart Alvarez III of Marrieta, GA; daughters Diana Alvarez of Ft Pierce, FL and Francesa Ana Alvarez of Fayetteville, NC; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Petra Alvarez.
Services: A visitation will be held Monday November 9, 2009 4-7 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday November 10, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens
