Luis A. Acosta, 79, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away February 9, 2020 in Palm City, Florida.
Luis was born on November 17, 1940 in Guanica, Puerto Rico to the parents of Eladio Acosta and Juanita Garcia. He moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida 15 years ago from New York and New Jersey.
Mr. Acosta had a passion for music. He loved going out to dinner and dancing with family and friends.
Survivors include brother, Remis (Susan) Acosta of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; loving children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Eladio Acosta and Juanita Garcia and sister, Carmen Colon.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM at the Haisley Tribute Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie, Florida. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34984.
