Luis Fernando Ortiz, Sr., 64, died September 17, 2007 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mr. Ortiz was born in Bogota, Colombia, South America and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1964 coming from Columbia.
He worked in maintenance in the citrus industry.Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Hilda Ortiz of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, Luis F. Ortiz of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Estella Hutchison of Port St. Lucie, FL, Rosangela Hernandez of Ft. Myers, FL and Viviana Lewis of New York; brother, George Vega of Cape Coral, FL; 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Igncio Hernandez.Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 from 3-5 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
