Luis "Chamaco" Maldonado

Luis “Chamaco” Maldonado, 63, of Port St Lucie, FL, passed away at home on June 26, 2024. Luis was born in Bronx, NY, on August 28, 1961, and attended St. Luke’s School and Lehman High School.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nilda Misla Maldonado of Port St. Lucie, Fl; son, Luis Maldonado III, of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Stephanie Tiana Maldonado of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Carmen Vega Malave; brother, George Maldonado; and granddaughter Aniya Rae Maldonado of Port St. Lucie, FL. Luis was preceded in death by his father, Luis A. Maldonado, Sr.

Luis loved music (especially playing his house music in his garage), dancing, spending time with his family and friends, and being on his island of Puerto Rico.

A visitation and prayer service will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024, from 4:30pm – 8:00pm at Haisley Funeral Home and Tribute Center, 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL, 34984. The prayer service will begin at 5:00pm.
