Mae Helen Singleton-Palmer, 81, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away April 1, 2023.

Aunt Mae was born June 10, 1941 in Sandford, Florida to the late Profit Rice and Alberta Redley. She received her education from the Seminole County Public School District and graduated with the class of 1958 from the Crooms Academy High School.

At an early age, Aunt Mae, joined St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church. After moving to Port St. Lucie, FL, she became a member of the Grace Baptist Church family.

Aunt Mae married the love of her life, Lynval Palmer on June 4, 1994.

She was preceded in death by devoted brothers, Turner and Mack Davis, Wilbert Chaney and Andrew Davis Jr, and beloved sister, Beatrice Newsome.

She leaves to cherish her memory, beloved husband of 28 years, Lynval James Palmer of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Jerrymayne (Alecia) Palmer of Winter Garden, FL; sister, Inez Howell of Sanford, FL; sisters-in-law, Reva Davis of Sumter, SC and Floretta Clark of Hiram, GA; brother-in-law, Errol (Joyce) Palmer of St. Catherine, Jamaica; nephews, Edward Newsome, Gregory Mitchell, Len Clay Howell Jr, Thomas Newsome, Linton (Nordia) Palmer, Craig Palmer, Dane Grant, Damion (Michelle) Stephenson; nieces, Marva (Albert) Pierce, Cynthia  (Jimmy) Butler, Patricia (Willis) Eubanks, Beverly Quardi, Loretta Colyer, Keisha (David) Bromfield, LaToya (David) Johnson, Corlis (Robert) Thomas, Suzzette (Christopher) Chamberlain, Hortense (Archibald) Williams, Arleen (Kenneth) Gayle, Claudia (Trevor) Thompson; godson, Braylen Bromfield and goddaughter, Harvetta Jones. She will be dearly missed by a host of great-nephews and nieces as well as cousins and dear friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM and on Saturday 11:30AM to 12:30PM at the Haisley Tribute Center with a service to be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 12:30PM to 2:30PM also at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery 2200 SW Del Rio Boulevard Port St. Lucie, FL  34953.
